Concept Camper Hummer [2009]
The stylistic research on the “Concept Camper” has been realized in 2009, based on the Concept Hummer
HX of 2008. Unmistakable lines. The Hummer is the benchmark as well as the cult vehicle for the
whole SUV world. Thanks to our team of designers a new idea is born, as a provocation with totally new lines and evident, slightly rounded corners. The specs are calibrated in order to realize
an “all-terrain Camper”. It is about 6.90 m in length, 2.15 m in width that permit from 2 to 4 beds, depending on the internal configuration.
A jewel that, if were actually realized, would be equipped with a V6 fuel engine 3.6 lt (304 CV) which could also be powered with E-85 ethanol fuel associated with a 6 gear automatic transmission 6WD.
Anvironmentally friendly : solar panels on the roof furnish the necessary energy for the air-conditioning system.
Audi A6 Avant [2003]
The project of the Audi A6 Avant was done in 2003, with the aim of reaching two important targets:
1. To explain the concept of mathematics 3D of the surface.
The design office not only delivers the sketch to his/her own client - and therefore the style - but also and above all a three-dimensional project, that will serve as the creation of a milled prototype. The following steps will be the construction of prints, which are necessary for the production in series.
2. To show unequivocally the ability of Lastdesign’s studio to develop such a delicate theme as that of the planning of a car.
The first step of this project was the formal search, through the creation of "search ", aimed at the renewal of the global design of the last touring car of the German House. Everything has been completed by the study and by the insertion in the new formal context of specific details such as the anterior and back lighthouses and the great anterior calender, that today characterises the Audi. family of cars.
Such details are based on the marvelous Nuvolari prototype, that the Automotive House builder previewed in 2002 at the
Ginevra expo.
The final result is a sports car which maintains an elegant style, appropriate proportions and smooth surfaces.
In these 5 years, while Audi presented 3 restylings of the A6 model, we could not help but notice how the starting intuition confimed its success, both for the latest base model A6 Avant, and fot the "extreme" version RS6 Avant.
